The invention discloses a brake pad holder, which is used for mounting a brake pad, is arranged at the side part of a brake disc, and comprises a brake pad holder main body and an excitation device arranged on the brake pad holder main body. The excitation device can generate eddy current in the braking process of the railway vehicle, and the eddy current can hinder relative movement of the brake disc and the brake pad support so as to reduce the speed of the railway vehicle. Compared with the prior art, the embodiment of the invention adopts a composite mode of friction braking and eddy current braking to realize speed reduction of the railway vehicle, and as the eddy current braking shares certain braking force, under the same-level braking, the abrasion of the brake disc and the brake pad is reduced, so that in the braking process of the railway vehicle, the braking force is reduced, and the braking efficiency is improved. And the abrasion between the brake pad and the brake disc is effectively reduced, the application cost of the railway vehicle is reduced, and the emission of brake dust is effectively reduced, so that the environmental protection is facilitated.

    本发明公开了一种闸片托,用于安装闸片,且闸片托设置于制动盘的侧部,闸片托包括闸片托主体和设置于闸片托主体上的励磁装置。励磁装置在轨道车辆制动过程中能够产生涡流,涡流能够阻碍制动盘与闸片托的相对运动以降低轨道车辆的车速。和现有技术相比,本发明实施例采用了摩擦制动和涡流制动的复合方式实现轨道车辆的减速,由于涡流制动分担了一定的制动力,在同级别制动下,制动盘和闸片的磨耗得以减小,因此在轨道车辆制动的过程中,不仅有效降低了闸片与制动盘的磨损,降低了轨道车辆的运用成本,而且还有效减少了制动粉尘的排放,从而有利于环境保护。
