The invention relates to a target object screening method and device, an electronic device, a storage medium and a vehicle, and the method comprises the steps: recognizing a plurality of objects in a preset range of a vehicle, and obtaining a time interval when the vehicle collides with each object from a current moment; determining a first position relationship between the self-vehicle and each object at a first moment when the collision occurs and a second moment when the self-vehicle moves to a plurality of target positions, the first position relationship including that the object is located in a lane where the self-vehicle is located or an adjacent lane; the method comprises the following steps: acquiring a transverse safety distance corresponding to an object, acquiring a first transverse distance between a vehicle and each object, and screening a target object from a plurality of objects according to a first position relationship, the transverse safety distance, the first transverse distance and a time interval, thereby solving the problem that the screening result of a vehicle collision avoidance system on surrounding dangerous objects is inaccurate; the accuracy of the screening result of the dangerous targets around the vehicle is improved.
