The invention discloses an island energy supply station based on a formic acid medium and a fuel cell ship supply system. The fuel cell ship supply system based on the formic acid medium comprises a fuel cell ship and an island energy supply station based on the formic acid medium. The fuel cell vessel comprises: a second formic acid tank adapted to replenish formic acid from the first formic acid tank; the formic acid decomposition hydrogen production device is used for decomposing formic acid in the second formic acid storage tank to generate hydrogen and CO2; the fuel cell comprises a cathode and an anode, and hydrogen enters the anode of the fuel cell and is subjected to electrochemical reaction with O2 at the cathode in the fuel cell to generate electric energy; the second energy storage battery is electrically connected with the fuel battery; and the driving device is electrically connected with the second energy storage battery. The formic acid required by the fuel cell of the fuel cell ship can be supplied by the island energy supply station based on the formic acid medium, support can be provided for long-distance navigation of the fuel cell ship, and the formic acid is used as a hydrogen storage medium and is safe and efficient.
