The invention belongs to the field of vehicle-mounted air conditioner control, and provides a bus vehicle-mounted air quality control system based on pollution control, which comprises a face recognition sensor, a PM2.5 sensor, a central controller, an air curtain, an air supply system and an air return system, the face recognition sensor and the PM2.5 sensor are connected to the central controller; the central controller comprises an air supply speed calculation model and a strategy selection module. The air supply speed and the air volume are regulated and controlled in real time according to the pollutant concentration and the personnel distribution condition in the bus, the driver and passenger areas in the bus are partitioned according to the principle of minimizing the cross contamination risk, and the air distribution of each area is controlled, so that the air circulation in different areas in the bus is reduced, the probability of infectious disease airborne transmission is reduced, and the safety of the bus is improved. The safety of drivers and passengers is improved; in addition, unreasonable start and stop of the air curtain, the air supply system and the air return system are avoided, and energy conservation and emission reduction of the bus air conditioning system are achieved on the premise that the PM2.5 concentration is controlled.
