The invention provides a stern structure and a ship. The stern structure comprises a stern shaft, a water inlet, a first sealing part, a water outlet and a control part. The water inlet is formed in one end of the cabin of the stern, and seawater flows in through the water inlet. The first sealing part is arranged at the water inlet and connected between the tail shaft and the ship body structure, and opening and closing of the water inlet are controlled by controlling opening and closing of the first sealing part. The water outlet is formed in the bottom of the other end of the cabin of the stern, and a water pump is arranged at the water outlet and used for discharging seawater in the cabin. The control part is in communication connection with the first sealing part and the water pump and controls opening and closing of the water inlet and the water pump. The problem that a bearing in a stern compartment is difficult to check and replace when a ship sails is effectively solved, a stern shaft can be supported and lubricated, and the stern compartment can be conveniently overhauled. The stern is simple in structure, the bearing is convenient to install and use, the using process is safe and reliable, the equipment installation efficiency is improved, the site construction risk is effectively reduced, and application and popularization are facilitated.
