The invention discloses a high beam and low beam automatic adjusting method comprising the following steps: obtaining driving environment information including road information, traffic information, positioning information, climate information and image information, and obtaining image information including extracting original image data through an image obtaining device; performing identification optimization processing on the original image data to generate an identification image; target object information is obtained, and due states of high and low beams are calculated; acquiring current states of high and low beams, and matching effective lamp control instructions; and a lamp control instruction is initiated, and high-beam and low-beam lamp adjusting operation is executed. According to the technical scheme, automatic switching of the high beam and the low beam based on intelligent network connection is achieved, and control over adjustment of the high beam and the low beam is more timely and accurate in the driving process.
