The invention discloses a method for controlling the rotating speed of an air compressor of a fuel cell automobile, which comprises the following steps of: S1, acquiring a driving intention; s2, planning a planned acceleration in a next time period and a planned speed corresponding to each moment in the next time period according to the driving intention; s3, planning the discharge power of the fuel cell according to the planned acceleration and the planned speed; s4, calculating the air supply speed of the fuel cell according to the planned discharge power of the fuel cell; s5, the rotating speed of the air compressor is calculated according to the air supply speed of the fuel cell and serves as the planned rotating speed of the air compressor in the next time period; and S6, the air compressor is controlled to rotate according to the planned rotating speed in the next time period. The rotating speed of the air compressor of the fuel cell automobile can be controlled according to the driving intention, so that the air compressor can be adjusted according to the driving intention.
