The invention discloses a car following control method and related equipment. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a pavement friction coefficient of a pavement to be passed in a target area; obtaining driving information of a to-be-followed vehicle, wherein the driving information comprises wind speed information and vehicle speed information; taking the vehicle driving information as input of a trailing vortex simulation model to obtain a simulated vehicle following position of the target vehicle; determining a relative position relationship between the simulated vehicle following position and the vehicle to be followed based on the lane line information; and controlling the target vehicle to follow the vehicle based on the relative position relation and the road surface friction coefficient. According to the car following control method provided by the embodiment of the invention, the wind speed information and the vehicle speed information are used as input of the trailing vortex simulation model, the obtained simulated car following position is more accurate, meanwhile, the car following strategy is adjusted for the road surface which is prone to slippery, and the safety of car driving can be fully guaranteed.

    本发明公开了一种跟车控制方法及相关设备。该方法包括:获取目标区域内待通过路面的路面摩擦系数;获取待跟随车辆的行驶信息,行驶信息包括风速信息和车速信息;将车辆行驶信息作为尾涡仿真模型的输入以获取目标车辆的仿真跟车位置;基于车道线信息确定仿真跟车位置与待跟随车辆的相对位置关系;基于相对位置关系和路面摩擦系数控制目标车辆进行跟车行驶。本申请实施例提出的跟车控制方法,将风速信息和车速信息作为尾涡仿真模型的输入,得出的仿真跟车位置更加准确,同时本申请针对容易发生湿滑的路面对跟车的策略做出调整,能够充分保证车辆驾驶的安全性。
