The invention discloses a monitoring system and method for ammonia nitrogen release flux in lake nutritive salt. The system comprises a remote control subsystem, a storage and transmission subsystem and an analysis subsystem, the remote control subsystem obtains a regulation and control instruction and sends the regulation and control instruction to the storage and transmission subsystem, the storage and transmission subsystem receives the regulation and control instruction and controls the analysis subsystem to arrive at a monitoring point position based on the regulation and control instruction, and the analysis subsystem collects a water sample at a preset depth at the monitoring point position and analyzes the water sample at the preset depth; the monitoring subsystem is used for generating water sample analysis data and sending the water sample analysis data to the remote control subsystem through the storage and transmission subsystem, and the remote control subsystem determines ammonia nitrogen release flux monitoring data based on the water sample analysis data. The system realizes remote monitoring of the ammonia nitrogen release flux, and has the advantages of simplicity and convenience in operation, short outdoor operation time and detection period, high detection accuracy, strong repeatability, energy conservation and the like.
