A parking control device is applied to a vehicle with an electronic parking system, the electronic parking system comprises an SBW system driven by a parking motor, serves as a power source of the vehicle and is only provided with a storage battery and a power generator, the parking control device is connected with the storage battery and the power generator in series, and the parking control device comprises a power source failure judging part and a power source failure judging part, a power failure determination unit that determines that a power failure has occurred when a first potential of a terminal of the parking motor connected to the battery detected by the battery potential sensor or a second potential of a terminal of the parking motor connected to the generator detected by the generator potential sensor becomes a low level; and an emergency risk prevention processing unit that issues a parking range switching command to an SBW ECU of the SBW system when it is determined that the power supply failure has occurred. According to the electronic parking system, the electronic parking system can stably act only through the storage battery and the generator under the condition that an auxiliary power supply is not used, and the safety of a vehicle can be improved while the cost is reduced and the space is saved.
