The invention relates to a temporary derrick for a narrow underground space and an installation method of the temporary derrick. The temporary derrick for the narrow underground space comprises stand columns, transverse connecting rods, longitudinal connecting rods, cross beams, bearing beams and stand column top plates. The stand columns are fixedly connected with the transverse connecting rods and the longitudinal connecting rods respectively, the cross beams are vertically and fixedly connected with the bearing beams, and the stand column top plates are fixedly connected with the stand columns and the cross beams respectively. The installation method of the temporary derrick comprises the steps that firstly, the stand column top plates and the stand columns are fixedly connected; then, the transverse connecting rods and the longitudinal connecting rods are fixedly connected with the stand columns correspondingly; then, the cross beam is vertically and fixedly connected with the bearing beam; finally, the cross beam is fixedly connected with the stand column top plate. The temporary derrick for the narrow underground space solves the problems that a traditional derrick in the narrow space is difficult to install and inconvenient to transport due to design limitation, and meanwhile, the temporary derrick for the narrow underground space is simple and stable in structure and beneficial to large-scale application and popularization.
