The invention relates to a voltage balancing system with multiple batteries connected in series, which comprises a high-voltage battery module, a direct-current converter and a controller, and is characterized in that the high-voltage battery module comprises a plurality of battery packs connected in series; the direct-current converter is connected with the high-voltage battery module, performs voltage conversion on an output power supply of the high-voltage battery module, and is connected with a low-power load; the controller is connected with each series battery pack and the DC converter, the controller detects whether each series battery pack has a voltage difference so as to execute voltage balance, and the judgment of the execution of the voltage balance by the controller is triggered by a wake-up signal in the controller; when voltage difference exists between the series battery packs, the controller controls the series battery packs with the highest voltage value in the series battery packs to discharge so as to achieve voltage balance, and the situation that when the series batteries are applied, the power supply efficiency of the whole batteries is affected due to the electric quantity difference between different batteries is prevented.
