本发明提供一种基于应答器双向传输的列车控制方法及系统,方法包括:在区间所有闭塞分区入口均设置应答器;所述应答器通过上行链路向列车发送传输线路数据、临时限速信息和移动授权信息,所述应答器通过下行链路接收列车车次号。本发明能够实现在进出站以及区间区段实时向列车提供传输线路数据、临时限速信息和移动授权信息,并及时更新列车临时限速信息。仅利用应答器的双向传输功能即可实现自动闭塞系统,无需在区间中设置轨道电路,降低建设成本,无需对轨道电路进行维护,降低维护成本,且不用考虑钢轨生锈、沙尘异物以及道床降低对轨道电路造成的不利影响。大大提高车次号追踪准确性,且故障后能够自动恢复对列车车次号追踪。
