The air conditioner outdoor unit comprises a condenser and a rotating device, the rotating device comprises a rotating component and a base, the condenser is installed on the rotating component, and the base is fixed to a ship body of a ship. The method comprises the steps that a real-time included angle between the wind direction of environmental wind and the orientation of a condenser is obtained through a preset environmental wind sensor, and the environmental wind sensor and the condenser are kept relatively static; based on the real-time included angle and a preset included angle condition, whether rotation control is conducted on the condenser or not is determined; and if it is determined that rotation control is conducted on the condenser, the condenser is controlled to rotate through the rotating device according to the principle of proximity, and the principle of proximity refers to that the angle of rotation does not exceed the preset angle. According to the scheme, electric energy consumed by heat exchange of the air conditioner outdoor unit can be saved, and noise pollution during heat exchange can be reduced.
