The invention relates to multi-segment spar manufacturing. Systems and methods for manufacturing a multi-segment spar for an aircraft are provided. In one example, the method includes: manufacturing a preform of fiber reinforced material for a spar segment; hardening the preforms to form spar segments; and joining the spar segments together to form a complete spar part. In addition to bonding, other examples include co-curing spar segments and fastening spar segments. In further examples, a spar segment includes an inflection or sub-inflection described.
