The tensioning device comprises a gooseneck, a protection mechanism, a first chain, a second chain, a driving mechanism, a clamping mechanism and a tensioning mechanism, wherein the driving mechanism is used for driving the first chain and the second chain to rotate; the clamping mechanism is used for clamping the first chain and the second chain; the tensioning mechanism is used for tensioning the first chain and the second chain; the protection mechanism comprises a protection frame; the gooseneck is mounted on the protective frame; the driving mechanism, the clamping mechanism and the tensioning mechanism are sequentially arranged on the protection frame in the steel pipe lifting direction. A first clamping block is arranged on the first chain, a second clamping block is arranged on the second chain, and the first clamping block and the second clamping block are matched with each other to clamp the steel pipe. According to the tensioning device, the steel pipe can be stably and safely lowered to the corresponding connector of the deepwater module, so that the type, displacement and pressure of a medium can be controlled on a ship, the construction difficulty is reduced, the construction efficiency is improved, the hoisting frequency is reduced, and the risk is reduced.
