The invention provides a vehicle oxygenation device and a control method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of plateau vehicles. The problem that an existing plateau vehicle oxygenation device is high in cost is solved. The vehicle comprises an engine, a supercharger and a connecting pipe arranged between the engine and the supercharger, the oxygenation device comprises an air inlet pipe, an air inlet valve and an air storage tank, the air inlet end of the air inlet pipe is connected with the connecting pipe, the air outlet end of the air inlet pipe is connected with the air storage tank, and the air inlet valve is arranged on the air inlet pipe or arranged between the air inlet pipe and the air storage tank. The air storage tank is provided with an air outlet used for discharging air towards the using end. The vehicle oxygenation device and the control method thereof have the advantage that the cost of the oxygenation device is reduced.
