The photocatalyst and plant enzyme combined formaldehyde scavenger comprises nanoscale zinc oxide, plant enzyme, deionized water and a dispersing agent, the dispersing agent is selected from one of sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate, sodium hexametaphosphate, P5040 and PEG (Polyethylene Glycol). According to the invention, the photocatalyst and the plant enzyme are combined for use and complement each other, so that the defects of the photocatalyst and the plant enzyme are perfectly avoided. The plant enzyme has no requirement on sunlight when formaldehyde is removed, the defect that a photocatalyst has the requirement on illumination can be overcome, and the photocatalyst is long-acting and lasting and can overcome the defect of the plant enzyme.
