The invention discloses an intersection anti-collision warning system based on a pedestrian tracking algorithm, which comprises a monitoring unit, a collision judgment unit, an early warning unit and a grid drawing and early warning rule configuration system, and is characterized in that the monitoring unit comprises a camera and a millimeter wave radar for monitoring real-time information of pedestrians and vehicles; the collision judgment unit comprises an edge calculation box integrated with a target detection algorithm and a pedestrian tracking algorithm and an industrial control host, and can calculate whether collision occurs or not according to the information acquired by the monitoring unit; the early warning unit comprises light-emitting floor tiles, an LED display screen and a directional sound box and is used for sending out early warning information to vehicles and pedestrians possibly colliding with each other. The grid drawing and early warning rule configuration system can perform grid drawing on a camera identification area and perform configuration and modification on an early warning rule. According to the invention, early warning can be given to pedestrians and vehicles in advance to reduce the probability and intensity of traffic accidents when the pedestrians do not comply with traffic rules or the sight is blocked and the like.
