The invention discloses TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor System) detection equipment with an adjustable power 125KHz signal amplifier and a detection method of the TPMS detection equipment, the magnetic field intensity of a low-frequency excitation antenna can be adjusted and the coverage range of the antenna can be controlled by simply setting a voltage output value of a power amplifier power supply through a controller, so that TPM sensors with different models and low-frequency receiving sensitivity can be excited. The early-stage setting is simple, manual intervention is not needed in the program control process, the magnetic field intensity is convenient to adjust, switching is rapid, and the requirements of full-automatic mixed-line multi-type TPM sensor production are completely met.
