A high-bending-resistance and high-energy-absorption automobile cross beam is prepared by rolling and welding a complete steel belt, the cross section of the cross beam is composed of two closed cavities and a connecting bridge for connecting the inner side walls of the two closed cavities, the connecting bridge is located on the outer side of the cross beam, and bending parts are arranged at the two ends of the steel belt. The bending parts are fixedly attached to the inner side walls of the two closed cavities in a welded mode, the welding positions are located on the front side of the cross beam, and the width L of the connecting bridge ranges from 4 mm to 30 mm. Through the structural design, the technological process is improved, and the bending strength and the energy absorption effect are obviously improved. Tests show that compared with a traditional B-type anti-collision beam, the bending resistance of the cross beam is improved by about 14% under the conditions of the same weight, material thickness and material; compared with a traditional anti-collision cross beam shaped like a Chinese character 'ri', under the conditions of the same weight, material thickness and material, the bending resistance is improved by about 9%, and the energy absorption capacity of the cross beam is improved by about 41%.
