The invention discloses a bidirectional magnetic nail positioning method for a steel plate pile travelling crane in a shipyard. The bidirectional magnetic nail positioning method for the steel plate pile in the shipyard comprises the steps that the span of the travelling crane is measured, magnetic nails are arranged on a travelling crane rail, a fixed magnetic switch is arranged on a trolley to serve as a reference position point, and the accurate position of each magnetic nail is set in an upper computer; when the travelling crane moves, an absolute value encoder starts to count and transmits the count to a PLC, the PLC records and uploads the count to the upper computer, and the upper computer generates travelling crane position information; when the travelling crane passes through the positions of the magnetic nails, the counting of the absolute value encoder recovers to an initial value, the upper computer receives a counting value transmitted by the PLC, and the upper computer automatically adjusts the position data of the travelling crane according to the coordinates of the magnetic nails and accurate position data; when the travelling crane travels to a preset position, the PLC starts to collect the magnetic switch state of the trolley and transmits the magnetic switch state to the upper computer, and the upper computer generates trolley position data; and when hoisting is stopped, all position data are reset. The method has the advantages of simple structure, high quality of pretreated water and the like.
