The invention relates to the technical field of underwater viewing platforms and particularly relates to a capsule type modular underwater large-view viewing platform. The platform comprises a viewing module, wherein the viewing module comprises a second pressure-resistant structure, a left end and a right end of the second pressure-resistant structure are connected with a first pressure-resistant structure through hoops, the second pressure-resistant structure communicates with the interior of the first pressure-resistant structure, and the first pressure-resistant structure and the second pressure-resistant structure are connected to form an integral pressure-resistant structure; a ventilation butt joint module and a communication power butt joint module are arranged at the top in the integral pressure-resistant structure and are used for being in butt joint with an external ventilation pipeline and an external communication power pipeline respectively. The modular design is adopted, transportation and allocation are convenient, and on-site assembly and use are convenient; a two-stage buoy system beneficial to water surface laying and recovery is arranged, and taking-up and paying-off are more convenient; an underwater robot has two working modes of water surface support and underwater self-sustaining, and the two working modes can be mutually redundant under special conditions.
