The invention discloses a tire with a multi-layer crown. The invention relates to a tire having a tread, the tread further comprising a first crown layer intended to come into contact with the road surface during driving, wherein the first crown layer comprises a first rubber composition. Further, the tread includes a second crown layer disposed radially inward of the first crown layer and supporting the first crown layer, wherein the second crown layer includes a second rubber composition different from the first rubber composition. The first rubber composition has a rebound rate of 10% to 25% as measured at a temperature of 0 DEG C according to DIN 53512, and the second rubber composition has a rebound rate of 20% to 35% as measured at a temperature of 0 DEG C according to DIN 53512. The first rubber composition has a rebound rate of 45% to 65% as measured at a temperature of 100 DEG C according to DIN 53512, and the second rubber composition has a rebound rate of 60% to 75% as measured at a temperature of 100 DEG C according to DIN 53512.
