The invention discloses a solar tracking method for a water drifting photovoltaic panel, which is technically characterized by comprising the following steps: S1, arranging an air bag 1, an air bag 2, an air bag 3 and an air bag 4 for controlling the angle of the photovoltaic panel at four corners of the bottom of the photovoltaic panel of a water photovoltaic power station, and performing inflation control on the air bag 1, the air bag 2, the air bag 3 and the air bag 4 by using an air pump; s2, obtaining the relation between the air bag height difference and the inflation time; s3, decomposing the light source, continuously adjusting the angle position of the photovoltaic panel, and finding out the position of the maximum illumination intensity of the sub-plane during adjustment; and s4, synthesizing two planes, and obtaining the position with the maximum illumination intensity. The solar tracking method for the water drifting photovoltaic panel is low in cost, evaporation is reduced, water resources are saved, cleaning is convenient, and the direction can be freely adjusted and controlled. And the maximum solar energy can be obtained in the maximum range, and the maximum power generation efficiency is achieved.
