The cleaning and smashing device for the algae plants on the surface of the river channel is provided with the conveying plates, connecting pieces and a conveying chain set; the conveying chain set drives the conveying plates to move, so that the algae plants on the surface of the river channel are conveyed in the moving process of the conveying plates; and water contained in the algae plants on the surface of the river channel is controlled through a mounting gap between the conveying plates, so that the situation that all the water contained in the algae plants on the surface of the river channel falls on the ship body, the weight of the ship body is increased, and consequently the flexibility of the ship body is reduced is avoided.
