The invention discloses a vehicle starting booster which is composed of a pneumatic motor, an output shaft, an air tank and an air pump, the output shaft is connected with a vehicle driving system, when a vehicle slows down and slides, the output shaft is meshed with the air pump through a synchronizer, at the moment, the output shaft drives the air pump to rotate to press air into the air tank. When the automobile is started, the output shaft is separated from the air pump firstly and then meshed with the pneumatic motor through the synchronizer, at the moment, the air tank supplies air to the pneumatic motor through the throttling valve, the pneumatic motor rotates under the action of high-pressure air to generate torque, the torque is transmitted to wheels through the output shaft to enable the automobile to run, and therefore consumption of electric power is reduced when the automobile is started.
