The circuit comprises an alternating current contactor and an alternating current contactor control circuit, a normally open contact of the alternating current contactor is connected in series between a power grid and the input end of a charging pile power module, and the alternating current contactor control circuit comprises two comparators and a second controllable component. The first comparator is used for comparing the voltage of the connection confirmation signal CC1 with a first reference voltage, the second comparator is used for comparing the voltage of the connection confirmation signal CC1 with a second reference voltage, and when the voltage of the CC1 is between the first reference voltage and the second reference voltage, the second controllable component is controlled to be switched on, a coil of the alternating current contactor is electrified; and when the voltage of the CC1 is smaller than the first reference voltage or larger than the second reference voltage, the second controllable component is controlled to be switched off, so that the coil of the alternating current contactor is powered off. The standby power consumption of the old charging pile can be greatly reduced.
