The invention discloses a parallel charging system and method for an electric motorcycle. The system comprises a first battery system, a second battery system and a charging system. The charging system comprises a first diode group, a second diode group and a charging module. The first battery system and the second battery system are both in communication connection with the charging module; cathode discharge ports of the first battery system and the second battery system converge to a main loop and are connected to the charging module; and positive electrode discharge ports of the first battery system and the second battery system are respectively connected with input ends of the first diode group and the second diode group; and output ends of the first diode group and the second diode group are converged to a main loop to be connected to the charging module. The first diode group and the second diode group are arranged to form a diode bridge structure so that a current can only be positively received to the charging module for charging and cannot be reversely discharged, and the backflow phenomenon between the battery packs is completely blocked.
