The problems that an existing power plant metal part operation period safety performance evaluation device is poor in detection effect and single in detection performance, the detection device is prone to falling off from the outer wall of a to-be-detected pipeline in the walking process, the service life of equipment is shortened, and the detection cost is high are solved. A walking assembly is installed on a to-be-detected pipeline, a guiding assembly slidably sleeves the to-be-detected pipeline, a driving assembly is installed on the guiding assembly, the walking assembly is installed on the guiding assembly through a supporting assembly, and the walking assembly is driven by the driving assembly to linearly reciprocate in the length direction of the to-be-detected pipeline. The electromagnetic coupling sensor is installed on the guide assembly and used for detecting partial discharge of the to-be-detected pipeline. The device is used for power plant metal part operation period safety performance evaluation.
