The invention discloses a self-shielding type hybrid excitation eddy current retarder which is composed of a stator retainer, a rotor, cooling fins, a stator, a rotor retainer and an output shaft flange. The stator comprises a permanent magnet, a doubly salient stator and a coil. The retarder simultaneously uses the permanent magnet and the coil excitation to generate a magnetic field, the rotor rotates to cut the magnetic field, and eddy current is generated on the rotor, so that a vehicle is braked, the advantages of an eddy current retarder and a permanent magnet retarder are integrated, the coil current of the retarder can be reduced, the problem of insufficient power supply of a vehicle storage battery is solved, and when the coil is not electrified, a good shielding effect on the permanent magnet can be achieved, so that braking torque is not generated on a vehicle. The braking torque is formed by composite superposition of electromagnetic braking and permanent magnet braking, and the advantages of an eddy current retarder and a permanent magnet retarder are achieved at the same time; and electricity consumption is low, and the requirement for a vehicle generator or a storage battery is low.

    本发明公开了一种自屏蔽型混合励磁涡流缓速器,由定子保持架、转子、散热翅、定子、转子保持架、输出轴法兰组成;定子包括永磁体、双凸极定子和线圈。该缓速器同时使用永磁体和线圈励磁产生磁场,转子旋转切割磁场,在转子上产生涡流,从而对车辆进行制动,综合了电涡流缓速器和永磁缓速器的优点,既可以减小缓速器线圈电流,从而解决车用蓄电池供电不足的问题,又可以在线圈不通电流时,对永磁体达到很好的屏蔽效果,从而不对车辆产生制动力矩。本发明的制动力矩由电磁制动和永磁制动复合叠加而成,同时具有电涡流缓速器和永磁缓速器的优点;耗电能小,对车辆发电机或蓄电池要求小。
