The invention discloses a vehicle rearview mirror blind region detection method and a detection device. The method comprises the steps: detecting whether a vehicle has a lane changing intention or not; when it is detected that the lane changing intention exists, obtaining the obstacle data of a rearview mirror blind region of the vehicle; the lane changing risk of the vehicle is recognized according to the obstacle data, and when lane changing danger is judged based on the lane changing risk, lane changing danger warning is conducted on a driver, and meanwhile the vehicle is controlled to stop changing lanes. Therefore, the problems that the detection mode of obstacles in the blind region of the rearview mirror is too rough, an early warning cannot be accurately given to a driver, active intervention cannot be performed on a vehicle when potential safety hazards exist, and driving safety cannot be effectively guaranteed in the prior art are solved.

    本申请公开了一种车辆后视镜盲区检测方法及检测装置,其中,方法包括:检测车辆是否有换道意图;在检测到有换道意图时,获取车辆的后视镜盲区的障碍物数据;根据障碍物数据识别车辆的换道风险,并且在基于换道风险判定换道危险时,对驾驶员进行换道危险警示的同时,控制车辆停止换道。由此,解决了相关技术对后视镜盲区障碍物的检测方式过于粗糙,不能准确地向驾驶员进行预警,并且存在安全隐患时不能对车辆进行主动干预,无法有效保证驾驶安全等问题。
