The invention relates to a control method for a vacuum advance mechanism (VAM) of a vehicle. The method comprises the steps: receiving the working state of a vacuum pump; receiving a vacuum pressure value in the vacuum booster; receiving information related to braking; and controlling an activation threshold value and/or a deactivation threshold value of the vacuum propulsion mechanism VAM based on the working state of the vacuum pump, the vacuum pressure value and the information related to the brake. The invention also relates to a control device for a vacuum advance mechanism (VAM) of a vehicle, a vehicle body electronic stabilization system, a motor vehicle and a computer storage medium. According to the control scheme for the VAM, the manufacturing cost of the vehicle is reduced (an air pressure sensor is not needed to measure the external environment air pressure), and meanwhile parameters in the vacuum advance mechanism (VAM) can still be effectively adjusted.
