The invention provides a battery power continuation system and a method thereof. The method comprises the following steps: a parallel connection step: controlling a switch through a processing circuit in a starting mode during the starting period of a battery power supply system, enabling a rapid energy storage module to be connected with a starting battery in parallel, and starting a starting motor; and a selection step: effectively selecting the capacitance value C of the fast energy storage module and the switch resistance value Rsw of the switch with appropriate specifications by using a formula (1) IL x td <= Vcapp x C and a formula (2) IL <= Vcapp/(Rc+Rsw). Therefore, the situation that the size or cost is increased due to overlarge design or the expected effect cannot be achieved due to oversmall design can be avoided, and the purpose of starting the motor by the battery power continuation system is achieved.

    本发明提供一种电池电力延续系统及其方法,该方法包括并联步骤,其在电池供电系统启动期间的启动模式下,透过处理电路控制开关,使快速储能模块与启动电池并联连接,用以启动启动马达;及选择步骤,藉由使用公式(1)IL×td≤Vcap×C,及使用公式(2)IL≤Vcap/(Rc+Rsw),有效选择适当规格的该快速储能模块的该电容值C以及该开关的该开关电阻值Rsw;因此可以避免发生设计过大造成体积或成本上升,或是设计过小无法达到预期效果,满足电池电力延续系统启动马达的目的。
