    An air conditioner applied to a hybrid vehicle includes a first heat medium circuit, a first heating heat exchanger, a first pump, a first hydraulic pump capacity controller, a second heat medium circuit, a second heating heat exchanger, a second pump, and a second hydraulic pump capacity controller. When a temperature difference calculated by subtracting a first temperature of the first heat medium from a second temperature of the second heat medium is lower than or equal to a predetermined reference temperature difference during the third air conditioning mode, the first air conditioning mode is set by switching from the third air conditioning mode.
