The invention discloses a method for calibrating the available capacity of a battery by a BMS (Battery Management System), which comprises the following steps: 1) an electric vehicle enters a charging state, and enters the charging available capacity calibration state if receiving a charging available capacity calibration state entering signal during charging; otherwise, the vehicle continues to be charged; (2) after the vehicle enters the charging available capacity calibration state, the BMS turns off a charger, and standing is conducted for 30 min; 3) the voltage of a single battery is collected, and the voltage is recorded as OCV; the SOC of the current battery is obtained by inquiring the OCV-SOC table of the battery, and the SOC is recorded as SOCOCV; 4) whether the SOCOCV is less than 30% or not and whether the battery temperature is between 15 DEG C and 35 DEG C or not is judged, and if the conditions are met, the step 5) is entered; otherwise, the charging available capacity calibration state is exited, and normal charging is carried out; and 5) charging is carried out until the cut-off voltage of the battery, and the original battery capacity in a register is replaced by the battery capacity of the current battery. During charging, the BMS re-estimates the capacity of the battery pack, so that the SOC precision is improved, and the usable life of the battery pack is prolonged.

    本发明公开了一种BMS校准电池可用容量的方法,包括:1)电动车辆进入充电状态,充电中,如果收到进入充电可用容量校准状态信号,进入充电可用容量校准状态;否则车辆继续充电;2)车辆进入充电可用容量校准状态后,BMS关闭充电机,静置30min;3)采集电池单体电压,记为OCV;通过查询该电池的OCV‑SOC表,获得当前电池的SOC,记为SOCOCV;4)判断SOCOCV是否小于30%,并且电池温度是否在15℃‑35℃之间,如果满足条件则进入步骤5);否则,退出充电可用容量校准状态,正常进行充电;5)充电到电池截止电压,将当前电池的电池容量替换寄存器中原有的电池容量。在充电时,BMS重新估算电池包容量,提高SOC精度,延长电池包可用寿命。
