The invention discloses a brake system and a brake method, and belongs to the field of pressure control. The system comprises a brake triggering device and a brake module; the brake triggering device comprises a pedal mechanism, a pressure output device connected with the pedal mechanism, and an oil feeder communicated with the pressure output device; the brake module is communicated with the pressure output device and distributes the pressure output by the pressure output device to wheel brakes. The brake module comprises at least two oil return ways capable of reducing pressures for the wheel brakes, the two ends of each oil return way are communicated with the corresponding wheel brake and the corresponding oil feeder respectively, each oil return way is communicated with at least one wheel brake, and the oil return ways are in decoupling fit. When the two oil return oil ways synchronously reduce pressures, no pressure fluctuation interference or pressure reduction lag exists, and the problems that oil return modules of four brakes use the same oil return oil way, and when the two loops synchronously reduce pressure, pressure fluctuation interference and pressure reduction lag exist between the two loops are solved.
