The invention discloses a water quality online monitoring buoy station which comprises a buoy body, a monitoring cavity is formed in the upper portion of the buoy body, a monitoring system, a battery system and a control system are arranged in the monitoring cavity, a plurality of solar cell panels are arranged at the top of the monitoring cavity, and the solar cell panels are electrically connected with the battery system. The buoy body comprises a horizontal floating plate and a draft part fixed at the bottom of the horizontal floating plate, the draft part is conical, and the bottom of the draft part is connected with a balancing weight through a pull rope. According to the online water quality monitoring buoy station, the buoy is high in stability and not prone to inclination and rollover, the monitoring cavity is located in the upper portion of the water surface, and the failure rate is low.
