The invention discloses a four-wheel drive torque pre-control method and device. The method comprises the steps of determining the stability state of a vehicle according to the yaw velocity and the expected yaw velocity; determining a current driving intention of a driver of the vehicle according to the steering wheel angle and the steering wheel angle speed; generating a torque release signal according to the stability state and the current driving intention; and adjusting the attitude of the vehicle based on the torque release signal, the yaw velocity and the lateral acceleration. By utilizing the characteristic that the motor torque response is quick, the front and rear shaft torques are pre-adjusted through an ECM stability pre-control strategy, and the influence caused by intervention delay of Bosch AYC or AYC function failure is relieved.
