The invention relates to a universal online mechanism and system for a battery module. The universal online mechanism for the battery module comprises a first sliding structure, a plurality of secondsliding structures and a plurality of clamping structures, wherein the first sliding structure is used for limiting the length of the battery module; the plurality of second sliding structures are oppositely arranged at two ends of the bottom of the first sliding structure respectively; the second sliding structures are used for limiting the width of the battery module; the first sliding structuredrives the plurality of second sliding structures to move; the plurality of clamping structures are arranged at two ends of the bottoms of the second sliding structures respectively; the plurality ofclamping structures are used for being in one-to-one correspondence with the positions of a plurality of hoisting holes of the battery module; and the clamping structures are used for limiting the hoisting holes of the battery module and fixing holes of a battery box body and clamping the battery module. The universal online mechanism and system can meet online requirements of the battery moduleswith different sizes; the universal online mechanism and system have the advantages of automatic operation, stronger universality and better positioning precision; the online production efficiency isimproved.
