The invention provides a power distribution and driving system for a remotely operated vehicle (ROV). The system comprises: a high-voltage direct-current power supply device located above the water surface and used for providing high-voltage direct-current voltage for the ROV; a direct-current step-down conversion device connected with the high-voltage direct-current power supply device through acable and used for converting the high-voltage direct-current voltage into low-voltage direct-current voltage to supply power to the ROV, wherein the direct-current step-down conversion device comprises a plurality of direct-current conversion modules connected in parallel, and each direct-current conversion module averagely loads load current to supply power to the ROV; and at least one propellerincluding a propeller, a synchronous motor, and a driver.
