The invention relates to a field exploration system for a four-wing aircraft, and the system comprises person number identification equipment which is disposed in a control box of the four-wing aircraft, and is used for determining the number of firefighters in direct proportion to the sum of received areas; a wireless communication interface used for wirelessly sending the received number of firefighters to a far-end fire-fighting service network; and a directional acquisition mechanism arranged at the bottom of the four-wing aircraft and used for executing acquisition operation on the fire behavior at the forest position when the four-wing aircraft circles above the forest so as to obtain a corresponding forest fire behavior image. The invention further relates to a field exploration method of the four-wing aircraft. The four-wing aircraft field exploration system and method are compact in design, simple and practical. The entity exploration result can be estimated based on the virtual exploration result to obtain the entity area sum of all fire bodies of the forest fire on site, and the number of firefighters in direct proportion to the entity area sum is determined, so that fire-fighting resources are prevented from being excessively used.
