The invention discloses a tapered wedge type combined shock absorber and a railway wagon bogie. The shock absorber comprises an inclined wedge body and a main friction plate, the inclined wedge body comprises an inclined wedge body slope, an inclined wedge body vertical face and an inclined wedge body bottom face, and the inclined wedge body slope, the inclined wedge body vertical face and the inclined wedge body bottom face define the inclined wedge body. The inclined surface of the inclined wedge body is arranged to be attached to the end part of a swing bolster of the bogie; the inclined surface of the inclined wedge body is of a double-inclined-surface structure and is provided with a first inclined surface, a second inclined surface and a connecting surface, the included angle betweenthe first inclined surface and the second inclined surface is an obtuse angle, and the connecting surface connects the first inclined surface and the second inclined surface; one side of the main friction plate is detachably connected to the vertical face of the inclined wedge body, and the other side of the main friction plate is arranged to be capable of being attached to a wearing plate on theside frame stand column, and the bottom surface of the inclined wedge body is arranged to be detachably connected to the upper part of a bogie spring of the bogie. According to the inclined wedge body combined shock absorber, the rhombus deformation resistance is improved.
