The invention discloses a railway vehicle primary suspension system adopting a composite material plate spring, and relates to the field of railway vehicle primary suspension system design and comprises an axle box rotating arm and the composite material plate spring, the composite material plate spring comprises a carbon fiber plate spring, two rubber springs and a laminated spring, and the carbon fiber plate spring is of an arch structure. The upper portions of the two rubber springs are fixedly connected to the two ends of the carbon fiber plate spring respectively, and the lower portions of the two rubber springs are fixedly connected to the axle box rotating arm respectively. The upper portion of the laminated spring is fixedly connected to a side beam lower cover plate of a bogie frame, the lower portion of the laminated spring is fixedly connected to the middle of the carbon fiber plate spring, and the laminated spring is of a spring structure integrally formed by an upper-layermetal plate, a middle-layer rubber block and a lower-layer metal plate in a vulcanization mode. According to the primary suspension system, the weight is reduced by 80%, the linear rigidity of primary suspension can be achieved, and high-frequency vibration of wheel rails is blocked. More transverse space can be saved for the built-in bogie, and space arrangement of other parts of the bogie is facilitated.
