The invention relates to a blind area image data supplementing system based on curved surface display, and the system comprises: angle detection equipment which is used for detecting and outputting the turning angle of a steering wheel in real time when a vehicle driver employs the steering wheel for turning operation; command analysis equipment, which is used for sending out an A column display command when the received turning angle of the steering wheel is greater than or equal to a preset angle threshold value, otherwise, sending out an A column closing command; a curved surface display mechanism which comprises a left side curved surface screen and a right side curved surface screen which are arranged on a left side column A and a right side column A of the vehicle respectively. The invention further relates to a blind area picture data supplementing method based on curved surface display. The blind area picture data supplementing system and method based on curved surface displayare intelligent in control, safe and effective. Whether curved surface display is added or not can be determined according to the actual situation of vehicle driving so as to supplement the blind areapicture of the vehicle A-pillar area, and therefore the safety of vehicle driving is enhanced.
