The high-wear-resistance steel ball for the recirculating ball type power steering gear comprises the following raw materials of, in percentage by mass, 0.85%-1% of C, 0.35%-0.45% of Si, 0.75%-0.85% of Mn, 7%-11% of Cr, smaller than or equal to 0.2% of Cu, smaller than or equal to 0.3% of Mo, smaller than or equal to 0.35% of S, smaller than or equal to 0.35% of P and the balance Fe.
