The application relates to an uphill auxiliary starting method and system. The invention relates to the technical field of new energy vehicles. When the vehicle is started uphill and a motor controller receives a loosening signal of a brake pedal, a driving motor is controlled to adopt a hill-holding torque A, an accelerator pedal is pressed under the action of an external force to generate an acceleration torque signal, wherein the acceleration torque signal comprises an acceleration torque B, the A and the B are gradually increased from zero, and the increasing speed of the A is higher thanthat of the B; after the A is increased to enable the reverse rotation speed of the driving motor to be zero, the reverse rotation speed of the driving motor is maintained to be zero; and when the absolute value of B is greater than or equal to the absolute value of A * (1 + D), the motor controller controls the driving motor to adopt acceleration torque B. In the earlier stage from releasing thebrake pedal to stepping on the accelerator pedal, the hill-holding torque which is increased faster than the acceleration torque is used for replacing the acceleration torque to control the driving motor, and faster and more stable auxiliary hill-slip prevention starting is achieved.
