The invention discloses a marine ecology automatic monitoring buoy system which comprises an anchor system floating buoy unit, a detection unit arranged in the anchor system floating buoy unit and a display terminal unit in communication connection with the detection unit. The anchor system floating buoy unit comprises a fixed anchor and a buoy connected with the fixed anchor. The detection unit comprises a weather detection module used for detecting water weather; a water quality detection module used for detecting underwater water quality parameters; a data acquisition module used for recording detection data of the weather detection module and the water quality detection module; and a wireless transmitting module used for transmitting buoy position information and the detection data. Acleaning assembly is designed under a buoy base, the water quality detection module is placed in the cleaning assembly, cleaning of the water quality detection module is completed regularly through relative steering cleaning of the two cleaning mechanisms, and attachment of microorganisms and algae due to the fact that the water quality detection module is soaked in seawater for a long time is avoided.
