The invention relates to an inflatable unfolding type living compartment for a spacecraft, which comprises a rigid supporting structure (1), a first rigid supporting end surface (2) supported at one end of the rigid supporting structure (1), a second rigid supporting end surface (3) supported at the other end of the rigid supporting structure (1), and a connecting structure for connecting the first rigid supporting end surface (2) and the second rigid supporting end surface (3), a flexible inflation structure (4) surrounding the rigid supporting structure (1), wherein the rigid supporting structure (1) has an internal space (A); a cabin door is arranged on the rigid supporting end surface (2); the rigid supporting structure (1) is provided with a channel, so that an astronaut can get in and out between the internal space (A) of the rigid supporting structure (1) and the internal space (B) of the flexible inflation structure (4). The astronaut enters the internal space (A) of the rigidsupporting structure (1) from outside the living compartment through the compartment door. According to the living compartment, the capacity of supporting on-orbit work and life of the astronaut can be achieved without on-orbit installation equipment, and butt joint impact loads can be borne.
