The invention discloses a vehicle air brake pressure change rate measuring method and device, belongs to the technical field of vehicle brake, and aims to realize real-time accurate measurement of a brake pressure change rate. Reference information is provided for vehicle situation control based on the brake pressure change rate, vehicle situation control precision can be improved, and vehicle driving stability, smoothness and passenger comfort can be increased. A laminar flow damping tube, an isothermal container, a differential pressure sensor and a pressure sensor are used for measuring thebrake pressure change rate; when the pressure ps of a gas capacitor to be measured is changed, the gas pressure pc in the isothermal container is influenced by the laminar flow damping tube; a pressure change lags behind the gas capacity to be measured; and a pressure difference pj is formed between the isothermal container and the gas capacity to be measured, the pressure difference pj between the isothermal container and a container to be measured is measured through the pressure difference sensor, the pressure pc in the isothermal container is measured through the pressure sensor, and thepressure change rate dps/dt in the container to be measured can be accurately obtained in real time through a temperature compensation algorithm.
